Marc Needham Super Haircut Vote Battle: I spent a good deal of time and effort last year growing my hair out. I resisted the unexpectedly strong urge to run down to the barber and get it shorn, I wore a baseball cap every day in that funny 'not short, not long, just stupid-looking' phase. I saw other kids with their wild, free hair. I wanted to be like them. And now I am. Thing is, I feel like a bit of a hippy and I'm not sure if the 'indie slacker' is what people want strolling into interviews. Plus now I have real bad hair days, something unheard of by those with short hair. Plus I think it makes my head look bigger. Plus I'm someone that can never just accept things the way they are, sometimes at great personal expense. In the hair's defense, I do think it looks cool, I put some effort into growing it, and I might regret cutting it after it is cut and then what? And how will people know I'm one of the cool kids if I've got short hair? You can see the decision is causing me no small amount of confusion. That's what the Marc Needham Super Haircut Vote Battle is all about. I'm opening the decision up to you, the general public, in the hopes that it will provide me with the definitive answer I so desire. Check either "Haircut: Yes!" or "Haircut: No!" and then click the "VOTE VOTE GO!!" button. I'll keep voting open until I have a good idea of what people really think, probably a week or so. Now go vote! |
