My name is Marc Needham. I recently moved from Seattle to Chicago after being downsized out of a web dev position at the Walt Disney Internet Group. I've got a few friends in Chicago but I don't have the network I need to get me a job.

That's where you come in.

Using the tools in the Contest Tools section below, find me a job. Submit my resume to your HR department. Talk to that friend of yours that was looking for someone last month. Print my resume up and paste it all over town. Hell, even hire me at your own company. So long as I know it was you that scored me the first interview and I get the job; you get $200 in cold, hard cash.

Plus:
· Most companies have a referral program of some sort so not only do you get $200 of my money, you also get whatever your company offers.
· You get to experience an inner warmth knowing that you've helped out a fellow human being.
· You'll instantly gain my respect and friendship.
· You'll be helping the economy. That can't be a bad thing.
· Seriously, $200 American, think of all the fun you could buy with that!

Contest Rules:

- I may decline to interview for any job that I don't see as a good match for my skills. This decision will be made by me and a small panel of judges.

- Contest closes the day I start my new job.

- Position must pay at least $45,000 per annum. There might be some flexibility in that if we're talking about my elusive "dream job".

- Obviously there can be only one winner.

- Winner will be paid award money ($200 - American) one of the following ways, winner's choice: personal check, money order, hand-delivered cash, Paypal. Awarding of prize money will take place the Saturday following my first week of work.

- Use the form below (or just send a note to marcneedham@hotmail.com) to let me know if you put me forward for something specific. That way I'll know to credit you if someone calls me and offers me an interview.

- If you have any questions or need anything from me, just shoot me a note.

- Don't just apply to a bunch of jobs for me and send me a shitload of emails, that's not what I want. You knew that though because you're not stupid.

- Am I serious? Yes.

- Please don't find some weird loophole in the rules and screw me over. I'm unemployed. In fact...

- If I think you are screwing me over you will be disqualified from the contest.
